That music originates from New Orleans and dates back to the 20s. One of the most popular performers of that genre was trumpeter and singer Louis Armstrong.\n\nThe band has been founded 14 years ago. Since then, the members have performed at various concerts, openings, exhibitions and other cultural events.\n\nMANOUCHE\n\nRobert Pikl (guitar, author, vocals)Petra Trobec (accordion, back vocals)Lika Ipavec (trumpet)Krešimir Tomec (bass)Jure Rozman (drums)\n\nManouche is a five-member band that was founded in 2011 by Robert Pikl and Marco Grabber. Other members include Petra Trobec (vocals, accordion), Krešimir Tomec (bass, synth) in Luka Ipavec (trumpet, back vocals).\n\nIn 2011, the band announced its existence with a debut single "Kje si Lubi?". The song quickly became popular with the Slovenian audience and was followed by a second and third single, both equally successful. \n\nIn 2014, the band released their second album “Stisn se k men”, for which they recorded an animated video and worked together with singer Alenka Godec. Next year, they welcomed a new drummer Jaka Rozman.\n\nTheir catchy lyrics, wild guitar solos, strong trumpet sounds and energetic music are all nicely packed into their new album "Kje si Lubi?", which is said to be a must-hear for everyone that loves the music of the 30s and 50s.
